May 13, 2024 Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission

Conduct a Public Hearing in consideration of a request for a zone change for nine (9) properties within the JC SUTTLE SURVEY, ABS NO. 585 (8.8 ACRES) as listed below:
  • Jennifer Lynn Radke, Individually, and as agent for James Edward Radke and the James Edward Radke Living Trust request to change six (6) properties located on the northeast corner of Atkinson Drive and N Medford Drive from a mix of “Residential Large”, “Local Business”, and “Commercial” to a single “Commercial” zoning classification. (Property ID # 33654, #33655, #33656, #33657, #33667, and #33675).
  • Rebecca Anne Radke request to change three (3) of the properties addressed as 2202 and 2204 N Medford Drive from a mix of “Residential Large” and “Commercial” to a single “Commercial” zoning classification. (Property ID #33659, #33658, and #33673)
4. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Gary Howard with Crown Castle Incorporated for approval of a change to an active Special Use Permit for the existing monopole communication tower located at 1205 Myrna Street and described as LUFKIN S.E. SUBDIVISION, BLK 1, LOTS 2 (.705 ACRES). (Property ID# 85592) This will allow for an increase in the approved height from 150 feet to 161 feet.
