Belinda Southern became the Director of Finance for the City of Lufkin in March 2011.

Belinda began her career with the City of Lufkin Finance Department in 2000.  Belinda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

The direct responsibilities of the Finance Department include payroll, accounts payable, grant accounting, debt management, investment portfolio, annual budget preparation and the annual financial report for the City of Lufkin.

 

Belinda is married to Jamie Southern. They have two school-aged children, Ty and Maci.
