UPCOMING AND RECENT EVENTS AT PITSER GARRISON CIVIC CENTER

 
It seems this year is the year for Brides as the Bridal Fair 2008 was the spotlight at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center on January 13th. This Annual event was presented by A-Party Rentals, Brookshire Brothers, and KTRE. Over 200 Brides were registered with approximately 500 visitors attended the show. Booths were in grand array ranging from beautiful flower arrangements, catering information, travel, photography, and home décor needs. Every area that a bride could ask for in her wedding and reception was covered, including a beautiful style show that catered to the complete wedding party.

Whether you’re planning a wedding or perhaps a party of your own, the Annual Bridal Fair is one event you would not want to miss. So, look for them next year at the Lufkin Civic Center!   Watch the Slide Show.
The Lufkin Police Department CrimeStoppers Band entertained the students of Lufkin area schools who are graduates of the 2007 DARE program. This program teaches children about the dangers of drugs and how to avoid them, which is what their name emulates: Drug Abuse Resistance Education. The CrimeStoppers Band always puts on a great show, and the children enjoy the celebration while having an opportunity to meet the band.
