New look and features added to the web
A GIS is a framework that is used to view and analyze data to help in the decision-making process. Collecting, managing, and analyzing data sets, allows city personnel, private businesses, and the public to be better informed by visualizing layers of data using maps, graphs, and tables. To be able to do this, the city uses ESRI’s suite of software along with various surveying and design software.
The city has several maps available for your use. Should you have questions concerning any data that is used in these maps, please contact the GIS Manager at 936-633-0382 or email GIS Manager.
