CIVIL SERVICE
Human Resources administers the Civil Service
entrance tests for the Fire and Police Department of the City of
Lufkin.
Entrance tests are posted at these locations at the City of Lufkin,
300 E. Shepherd St, Lufkin, Tx 75901
• The City’s website,

• The outside windows of City Hall atrium
• The public announcement display case, in the City Hall Atrium.
• The Human Resources Job Board, Room 226 at City Hall
Applicants must score at least a 70 to be placed on an eligibility
list.
Exams are administered annually for each department, or as needed
when the current list of applicants is exhausted.
