Watch our website for information about our Summer
Reading Programs for ages 0-17. This year’s themes are “Get a Clue… at the
Library!” for kids 0-12 and “TSI: Realm of the Unknown” for teens 12-17.
Children are encouraged to read as many books as they can: they can earn
rewards based on the total number of hours they spend reading or being read
to.
Registration begins on Friday, May 21st and we’ll have our
kick-off party on Friday, June 1st from 10am-4pm. There is no
charge to join the Summer Reading Club.

Wednesday, May 16 - Coffee and Conversation, ages 55+ – Senior Games,
10am-11am.
A chance to come play some old-fashioned board games. Bring your friends or
come make new ones.

Kurth Memorial Library is open 10am to 7pm on Mondays, 9am to 6pm Tuesday
through Thursday, 9am to 5:30 on Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. We do
not charge for membership if you live in Angelina County, however, you must
have a valid photo ID with current address in order to apply.
Parents or legal guardians must apply for library cards for
children under 16. Replacement cards are $1. Children under the age of 13
may not be left at the library without adult supervision.
