Pack knocks off No. 1 Lobos

The Lufkin Panthers don't play the role of underdog at home very
often. But with Class 4A's top-ranked Longview Lobos at Abe Martin
Stadium Friday night, the Panthers played the role to perfection.
Quinn Trimble hauled in a 53-yard touchdown pass on a Hail Mary to
give Lufkin a 28-7 lead at the break and the defense delivered the
knockout punch on a James Duirden forced fumble late in the game as
the Panthers took down the Lobos 28-14.
