Sports offered by the department are adult softball and basketball leagues and youth basketball leagues. We also provide links to sports provided by other organizations in our city.

The recently constructed Spray Play Pad at Jones Park is now officially open.  Mayor Jack Gorden and Councilmember Rose Faine Boyd did the honors on Tuesday, August 29.  The City met the goal of having it open this season, before the normal closing date of September 30th.  The new facility will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. daily, including weekends.  Our season will normally be May 1st until September 30th each year.
