PLANNING AND ZONING

 

The City Council will discuss the following item at the December 16, 2014 meeting:

The City of Lufkin is considering an ordinance for the annexation of property adjacent to and including Joe C Lane, which is north of the current City limits and parallel to East Denman Avenue. A map of the area is available from the City of Lufkin Planning Office in Room 221 of the City Hall building

 

The item will be heard in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the City Council on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 5:00 PM.

CANCELLATION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Two Public Hearings were scheduled to be heard in the Council Chambers

at the December 2, 2014 City Council meeting regarding the annexation of portions of

FM 2108, Old Schoolhouse Road and FM 819.

 

This is notice of the cancellation of these hearings.  Any further annexation proceedings in this area are currently on hold. For questions regarding the City of Lufkin’s actions or if you need further information, please contact Dorothy Wilson, Director of Planning and Zoning

December 2, 2014 meeting:

 

The City of Lufkin is considering an annexation for property adjacent to the southernmost portion of the east side of Lufkin City limits along FM 2108, Old Schoolhouse Road and FM 819. A map of the area is available from the City of Lufkin Planning Office in Room 221 of the City Hall building.

 

The Hearings will be heard in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the City Council on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. The meeting starts at 5:00 PM.
