CITY OF LUFKIN, TEXAS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLANNING AND ZONING
The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the
following items at the March 10, 2014 Commission meeting:
Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Jane
Ainsworth, applicant for Owner 819 KAD, Ltd., for approval
of a Zone Change from Office District to Commercial for land
known as 4766 Landinvest FM 819 Subdivision, Block 1, Lot 1,
a tract of 1.134 acres of land, more or less. The property
is located west of FM 819 and the rear entrance to Crown
Colony Subdivision. This request requires a Future Land Use
Map change to Commercial.
Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Wayne
Bertrand, applicant for Owner William Weiblinger for
approval of a Zone Change from Local Business to Commercial
for land known as ABS 0040 Quinalty J. L.,Tract 115, Acres
1.0 also known as 1526 and 1528 South Chestnut. The property
is located on the west side of South Chestnut Street
approximately 125 feet north of Card Drive.
A Public Hearing to consider the requests will be held in
the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East
Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on
Monday, March 10, 2014 at 5:00 PM.
The City of
Lufkin Planning & Zoning Department will strive to
