PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION



The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the May 11, 2015 Commission meeting:


Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Perry-Ellis Land, LLC, changing the zoning on 5.625 acres described as 3166N Barrett Land Co. Subd. #2 Block 1, Lot 2, and more commonly known as 1705, 1715, 1801, 1801 ½ South First Street from the current classifications of “Commercial” and “Residential Large Single-Family Dwelling” to a single zoning classification of “Commercial”, and removal of Ordinance #3540.


A Public Hearing to consider this request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 5:00 PM and by the City Council on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following at the May 26th, 2015 Commission meeting:

 

Conduct a Public Hearing and consider the request of Altus Health System, for approving an amendment to the Brentwood Crossing VII Shopping Center Plan for property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of North Brentwood Drive and BW Crossing and known as Brentwood Crossing VII, Block 1, Lot 12 comprising 1.189 acres and addressed as 501 Brentwood.

 

A Public Hearing to consider this request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the May 26, 2015 Commission meeting:

 

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Pilot Travel Centers, LLC, changing the zoning on the following properties from “Residential Large Single Family Dwelling” and “Residential Medium Single Family Dwelling” to “Commercial”, specifically; ABS 0848 Green W.G., Tract 28, Acres .89, ABS 0848 Green W.G., Tract 29 & 30, Acres 5.89 and ABS 0848 Green W.G., Tract 31, Acres 1.49.  This hearing also includes a request for a change to “Commercial” zoning on two portions of parcels currently zoned both “Commercial” and “Residential Large Single Family Dwelling” to extend the existing  “Commercial” zone from the north portion of the two properties to the southern boundary line for the following parcels; 4172M Fuel City Lufkin Addn Blk 1, Lot 2 and 0848 Green W.G., Tract 32, Acres 1.
In addition this hearing will consider a change to the Future Land Use Map for the area described above from Low Density Residential to Commercial.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

 

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the June 8, 2015 Commission meeting:

 

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Michael Parker, R.P.L.S., on behalf of SBRJWM, Ltd. for approval of the Final Plat of Creekside Hills, a 9.606 acre tract of land presently described as a tract of land out of the Jacinto Magano Survey, Abstract No. 25 and being all of that certain Perry-Redditt Estates Phase 1 and a part or portion of the 168.192 acre tract described in a deed from Harold Estes to SBRJWM, Ltd. dated December 27, 2012. This parcel is located in the City of Lufkin’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction along the south side of Acorn Drive, located west of Homer Alto Road and approximately ½ mile from the City of Lufkin western boundary. 

 

A Public Hearing to consider the request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
