NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

 

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the

June 8, 2015 Commission meeting:

 

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request from Michael Parker, R.P.L.S., on behalf of SBRJWM, Ltd. for approval of the Final Plat of Creekside Hills, a 9.606 acre tract of land presently described as a tract of land out of the Jacinto Magano Survey, Abstract No. 25 and being all of that certain Perry-Redditt Estates Phase 1 and a part or portion of the 168.192 acre tract described in a deed from Harold Estes to SBRJWM, Ltd. dated December 27, 2012. This parcel is located in the City of Lufkin’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction along the south side of Acorn Drive, located west of Homer Alto Road and approximately ½ mile from the City of Lufkin western boundary. 

 

A Public Hearing to consider the request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the

June 22, 2015 Commission meeting:

 

Conduct a Public Hearing and consider a request from Peltier Land Lufkin LLC, changing the zoning on 15.79 acres described as Meyer Addition No. 2 Lot 2, Tract 1 and Sook, and Meyer Addition, Lot 1, Tract 2, and more commonly known as 418 North Medford Drive from the current classifications of “Commercial” and “Agricultural” to a single zoning classification of “Commercial”.

 

A Public Hearing to consider this request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 5:00 PM and by the City Council on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

Conduct a Public Hearing and consider a request from the Owner, ADK Investments, Inc., and Applicant, Lufkin Travel Plaza, for approval of a Zone Change from a “Planned Unit Development” 3353 to a “Commercial” zoning district for Blount L.F. Block 1, Lot 4.2, 5.2, 6.3, and 6.2 a total of 6.629 acres, also known as 4110 South First Street.

 

A Public Hearing to consider this request will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 5:00 PM and by the City Council on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
