Complaint Receiving Procedures
Personnel complaints consist of any allegation of misconduct or improper job performance against any department employee that, if true, would constitute a violation of
department policy, federal, state of local law.
Employee conduct may come under review and be handled informally by a direct supervisor or following a written complaint by a private individual.
Although written complaints are preferred, a complaint may also be filed verbally either in person at 300 E. Shepherd Ave. in Lufkin or by telephoning the Department at
936-633-0356 and will be accepted by any supervisor.
