CURBSIDE RECYCLING IN LUFKIN
RECYCLING IS EASY!
 First,
get a blue cart by calling 633-0281 or signing up at
lufkinrecycles.com. Then, each week put the following items in your
blue cart instead of the garbage cart:

CARDBOARD (corrugated and pasteboard boxes)
·
NEWSPAPER (including advertising inserts)
·
MAGAZINES & JUNK MAIL
·
OFFICE PAPER & SHREDDED PAPER (please bag shredded paper)
·
ALUMINUM CANS (cans only)
·
STEEL
CANS (cans only)
·
PLASTIC BOTTLES & JUGS (anything with a neck or #1 or #2)
 Roll
your cart out to the curb on collection day, and we’ll do the rest.
It’s that easy! We want to keep our recycling stream clean... so
remember to only put the above items in the blue cart. Only clean
and dry items should go in the cart.
We have a ZERO
TOLERANCE policy regarding contamination, which means your cart will
be removed if we find anything other than the items listed above.
NO GLASS, NO
STYROFOAM, NO FOOD, NO PLANTS, NO HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE!
NO CLOTHING, NO
ELECTRONICS, NO TOYS, NO METAL OTHER THAN CANS!
