Douglas Wood has served as the Director of Finance/Accounting since
January of 2000. Prior to coming to Lufkin Doug was employed by HTE,
a developer of computer software for not-for profit organizations.
Previous employers include the City of Houston, Texas for nine
years, County of Chesterfield, Virginia for eight years and the City
of Roanoke, Virginia for about nine years. Doug has a Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration and holds the Association of
Government Accountants Certified Government Financial Managers
designation. He is a member of the Government Finance Officers
Association, Association of Government Accounts and the Sungard, HTE
national users group. His direct responsibilities include payroll,
accounts payable, grant accounting, debt management, investment
portfolio, annual budget preparation and the annual financial report
for the City of Lufkin. |
