A Juneteenth festival will be held June 17 at Brandon Park.
 
The Freedom Celebration starts at 10 a.m. with a parade that begins on Keltys Street.

The parade route is as follows:
(Down) Keltys Street 
(Right) on Abney Avenue 
(To) MLK
(To) Kurth Drive
(Left) on Culverhouse Street
(To) Wilson Avenue 
(Ending) at Brandon Park

Events will continue throughout the afternoon with speakers, an open mic contest, DJ, food, domino tournament, basketball tournament, vendors, and additional games.
